During the free routine check-up and tartar removal, the dentist alarmed me and insisted that professional treatment at a follow-up appointment (which I would, of course, have to pay for myself) was urgently necessary. Since she had removed the tartar the first time, she said it wouldn't be needed again, at least not next time. But when I got home, I noticed that some stains were still present. As a result, at my follow-up appointment, I received no further special treatment beyond polishing, because she was largely occupied with removing the remaining tartar. I had trusted the practice and her expertise, but I was terribly disappointed and felt cheated—to be swindled out of money in this way, without any regard for the individual.“
